We're Smokey Road.
A New Mexico cannabis company that grows, makes and now sells its own.
Our story
Smokey Road started in 2021, when a longtime cannabis industry professional set out to bring years of know-how to New Mexico's new market.
We found our home along the Rio Grande, in farm country with deep agricultural roots. With established pecan orchards on every side, it felt like the right place to grow.
The farm
We started by converting an old warehouse that once processed pinto beans into our indoor grow. Next to it we built a processing building with a hash lab, freezers, a kitchen, and trim and packaging rooms.
Our indoor grow brings years of experience, and plenty of trial and error, to what we believe is one of the best indoor cultivation sites in the state.
Sun grown, too
Customers asked for more variety, so we added an outdoor field and two greenhouses. Today we offer full-term, sun-grown outdoor flower, hash and vapes alongside our indoor line.

From our farm to South Main
Opening our own shop was about one thing: bringing the same consistency and quality we put into every harvest and every batch straight to customers across New Mexico. You'll still find Smokey Road at about 65 shops statewide. Starting Wednesday, Oct 14, you can also shop with us at Smokey Road Dispensary, 3895 S Main St, Las Cruces, open daily 10am to 8pm. Our crew is behind the counter, and they can tell you exactly where your jar came from.
